1. Acceptance of these terms
By downloading, accessing, or using cMe, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app or related services.
2. The cMe service
cMe helps trusted groups share real-time location, view limited location history, manage group membership, communicate through group chat, and use related safety-oriented features. The service is intended for voluntary sharing among people who know and trust each other.
3. Account responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your account secure, and for activity that occurs under your account. You must not use another person's account without permission.
4. Location sharing and consent
You must only invite people to groups where location sharing is appropriate and consent-based. Do not use cMe to track, harass, threaten, or monitor anyone without proper authorization. Group members can manage sharing controls in the app.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with normal operation, attempt unauthorized access, upload harmful code, abuse invitation systems, or use cMe in ways that violate applicable laws or the rights of others.
6. Subscriptions and paid features
Some features may require a paid subscription or in-app purchase. Purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are generally managed by the app store where the purchase was made. Additional terms are available in our Subscription Terms.
7. Service availability
Location services depend on device settings, network conditions, operating system permissions, battery management, third-party platforms, and mapping or cloud services. We work to provide reliable service, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or perfectly accurate location updates.
8. Safety disclaimer
cMe is a location sharing and coordination tool. It is not an emergency response service, medical monitoring service, security service, or substitute for contacting local emergency services when urgent help is needed.
9. Intellectual property
The cMe app, website, design, text, software, brand elements, and related materials are owned by CME Technology or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the service except as allowed by law.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you have violated these terms, created risk for others, or used the service unlawfully. You may stop using cMe at any time and may request account deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service, legal requirements, or business practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
